Erin Fong and Kayla Taron of Oakland, California are the inventors of Thingamatink – an origami-inspired blanket that can turn into lots of different things — a tent, a boat or a flying fish. Use your imagination! They knew they were onto to something big when the company launched a successful Kickstarter campaign and was named Maker Faire Editor’s Choice in 2016. Now they face the tough kid judges on The Toy Box.

When folded flat, Thingamatink is a 40″ x 60″ blanket made of 100 percent cotton flannel with hypo-allergenic foam, zippers and snaps. Thingamatink is designed for kids aged 3 to 7 and is available online for $120. The Thingamatink Book is also available for $18. The Toy Box airs Sundays at 7pm on ABC, right before Shark Tank.
