Melissa McEntyre of Woodstock, Georgia is the inventor of Patio Pong, a large-scale ball toss game for the outdoors. Similar to other pong games that use buckets, Patio Pong requires that two sets of six buckets are lined-up in a triangle and separated by about 30 feet. You try to throw your ball into the opposing team’s buckets. If one goes in, that bucket is removed from the game. McEntyre is pitching Patio Pong on The Toy Box on October 1.

Patio Pong comes with 12 (9″) buckets, 3 bounce balls, and a 5-gallon bucket and lid to hold all the pieces. While Patio Pong sure does look like fun to play, there are several competitors on the market already. Is McEntyre’s version of the classic outdoor game different enough to stand out in the crowd? Tune in to The Toy Box on Sunday to find out (7pm on ABC, right before Shark Tank).
