Jeff James and Donovan Eberling of Los Angeles, California are the inventors of the stacking board game Tournament of Towers. It’s a competitive, point-driven game with tower building and card drafting mechanics. Tournament of Towers is designed for kids 6 and older. One round takes an average of 30 minutes. James and Eberling are pitching the game on The Toy Box on October 29. Tournament of Towers launched a Kickstarter campaign and raised more than $27,000 from 314 people. Those who pledged $39 got an edition of Tournament of Towers — but that offer is no longer available. That’s the bad news. Now the good news. For all the people watching The Toy Box who want to give Tournament of Towers a try, you can pre-order a new complete set on the same Kickstarter page linked above.
Tournament of Towers is accepting $49 pre-orders now for a Tournament of Towers edition complete set. $15 is added for shipping in the U.S. The game is expected to ship out in April 2018. The Toy Box airs Sundays at 7pm on ABC.
