The AMC series Halt and Catch Fire is set in the early 1980s and shines a light on three young professionals in the tech world who set out to create a revolutionary computer. Along the way they work with venture capitalists like Diane Gould who “referees a power struggle between her protégé Donna Emerson (Kerry Bishé ) and a new rival.”
Gould is portrayed by Annabeth Gish. She’s known for her roles on The X-Files (Monica Reyes), Rizzoli & Isles (Alice Sands), Pretty Little Liars (Dr. Anne Sullivan), Sons of Anarchy (Lt. Althea Jarry), The Bridge (Charlotte Millwright), Brotherhood (Eileen Caffee), and The West Wing (Elizabeth Bartlet Westin), among others. Gish is also well recognized for her roles in the films Beautiful Girls (Tracy Stover) and Mystic Pizza (Kat). Halt and Catch Fire airs Saturdays at 9pm on AMC.
