The protagonist of the new CBS military drama SEAL Team is Elite Navy SEAL Jason Hayes (David Boreanaz). He trains and leads a Tier One team on dangerous missions. Two of the members of his SEAL Team are females: CIA Analyst Mandy Ellis (Jessica Pare) and Logistics Officer Davis, who is also described by CBS as the “unofficial den mother responsible for outfitting the team with the necessary gear for each mission.” Think Q in the James Bond franchise.
Davis is portrayed by Toni Trucks. She’s known for her roles on NCIS: New Orleans (CGIS Agent Joan Swanson), Grimm (Deputy Sheriff Janelle Farris), Franklin & Bash (Anita Haskins), Hostages (Angela Nix), Barbershop (Terri), and in The Twilight Saga movies (Mary), among others. SEAL Team airs Wednesdays at 9pm on CBS.
