On the night FOX is broadcasting Who Shot Biggie & Tupac (September 24), ABC is broadcasting its episode of Celebrity Family Feud with Biggie’s widow, Grammy Award winning R&B singer Faith Evans. Evans has her mother and 3 of her 4 children with her on the game show including Christopher “CJ” Wallace, her one and only child with her late husband, New York rapper Christopher “The Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace. CJ was five months old when his father died.
Evans and Wallace married in 1994, one month before Biggie released his debut album Ready to Die. The album was certified four times Platinum and according to Rolling Stone “almost single-handedly…shifted the focus back to East Coast rap” which fueled the infamous East Coast-West Coast hip hop feud. On March 9, 1997, Wallace was killed in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles. He was 24. Celebrity Family Feud airs Sundays at 8pm on ABC.
