LiddUp is the cooler with built-in interior LED lighting. So when you lift the lid at a party, at night, you see which can or bottle you’re looking for. The entrepreneurs behind Liddup, Jason Sandberg and Taylor Gwizadon pitched their business on Shark Tank in 2013. They explained that they own the patent on putting LED lighting inside a cooler. Kevin O’Leary offered “the two dudes” $100,000 in exchange for a third of a licensing deal with the largest cooler manufacturer in the world, Igloo — a deal which O’Leary said he could make happen.

O’Leary kept up his end of the deal. After Shark Tank, Liddup did partner with Igloo to sell its $229.99 Party Bar. Besides Amazon (see link above) Igloo also sells the product on its website. The “two dudes” aren’t all about business either. They’re actually, as you’d hope cooler inventors would be, cool: after the recent hurricanes, Liddup partnered with the American Red Cross to contribute up to $200,000.
