HGTV home improvement star Drew Scott (Property Brothers) is competing on Dancing with the Stars. The 6’4″ tall celebrity is paired with the current DWTS Champion Emma Slater — who btw is an entire foot shorter than Scott. Slater showed up at a construction site to introduce herself Scott. Scott demonstrated his agility to Slater by doing the worm on an unfinished floor. Scott proceeded to promise Slater: “If we win, I’ll renovate your kitchen.”
That scene was shown in the package right before their first performance on Dancing with the Stars. They did a Foxtrot set to the Madness song “Our House.” Veteran DWTS judge Len Goodman told Scott he was a “fixer upper” and pointed out his “humongous mistake” in the routine and then suggested that Scott “work on getting more finesse.” Goodman added, “With a lick of paint, you’ll look terrific.” Scott/Slater received a score of 16 out of 30. Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
