Debbie Gibson is one of the 13 celebrities competing on Dancing with the Stars, Season 25. The former teen pop star says she’s wanted to do the show since season one with Joey McIntyre, but the timing was never right. Now at the age of 47, Gibson is ready — although challenged. In 2013, she was diagnosed with Lyme disease which can affect her stamina. “I can’t be cavalier with my body,” Gibson told People. That said, Gibson appears to be in phenomenal shape.

Gibson might be one of this season’s older contestants (Barbara Corcoran — check out her abs — is the oldest at 68!), but Gibson does have “a leg up” in the DWTS competition. Unlike ex-NBA star Derek Fisher for example, Gibson knows how to quickly learn choreography from her years on Broadway — most notably as Eponine in Les Misérables and Sandy in Grease. Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
