For the Season 1 finale of the TV competition show World of Dance, the final three acts competed for the title of Best in the World in front of judges Ne-Yo, Jennifer Lopez, and Derek Hough. Each act — Eva Igo (Junior), Swing Latino (Team), and Les Twins (Upper), got to perform twice. Les Twins won with a killer second performance to a famous Michael Jackson song and was awarded the $1 million grand prize.

It was close as all three acts are known for their artistry, precision and athleticism. In getting to the finals, Eva Igo demonstrated her newfound confidence and got fierce when she knocked out Diana Pombo. Les Twins got creative when one of the brothers injured his leg and used his wheelchair as a prop. And Swing Latino — their speed and dynamics alone could have won them the title of Best in the World. But in the end it was Les Twins with a bravura performance that captivated the judges and guarantees we’ll be seeing more of them. World of Dance airs Tuesdays at 10pm on NBC, right after America’s Got Talent.
