In the Season 2 premiere episode of Chesapeake Shores, ‘Secrets, Lies and School Supplies,’ while the annual lantern festival is held in town, Trace Riley (Jesse Metcalfe) returns to Nashville. He’s there to face a terrible, almost fatal mistake from his past. He knocks on the door of young man in a wheelchair named John Rawl.

John Rawl is portrayed by Bradley Stryker. He’s known for his roles on iZombie (Kenny), The Lizzie Borden Chronicles (Skipjack), Supernatural (Tony), Smallville (Deadshot), and The O.C. (Trey Atwood), among others. Stryker is also recognized for his roles in the films Wolves of Wall Street (Kennison) and the 2017 horror film Land of Smiles, which he wrote and directed. It has won several independent film awards. Chesapeake Shores airs Sundays at 9pm on Hallmark Channel.
