In the series premiere episode of Baller Wives, Miko Grimes and her husband Brent Grimes work out together and then make plans to move to Tampa in the fall. Miko says she has to move to Tampa for the season with Brent because “he expects a home-cooked meal every day,” and she watches film with him, “and we study the receivers together and the quarterbacks together.” Brent is a blazingly fast, 5’10”, 34-year-old football cornerback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL.
Brent Grimes played college football at Shippensburg University before being signed by the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played in Atlanta until 2012. In 2013, he signed a one-year, $5.5 million contract with the Miami Dolphins. In 2014, he re-signed with the Dolphins in a 4-year deal with a potential value of more than $30 million. In March 2016, Brent signed a 2-year, $13.5 million contract with the Buccaneers (it could surpass $16 million with bonuses). Brent is a four-time Pro Bowler. Brent and Miko married in 2010. They have one child, a son named Aiden. Baller Wives airs Mondays at 9pm on VH1.
