Tara Reid and Ian Ziering are the die-hard stars of the Sharknado Syfy franchise but in Sharknado 5: Global Swarming, beloved actress/singer Olivia Newton-John will still scenes on the Australian shore as Orion. By her side is a gorgeous blond named Electra who is portrayed by Newton-John’s real-life daughter Chloe Lattanzi. Chloe’s father is actor Matt Lattanzi (Roxanne, My Tutor, Grease 2), Newton-John’s first husband (1984-1995). Chloe is an American although she plays an Australian in Sharknado 5.
Chloe Lattanzi, 31, launched her acting career in 1993 and has appeared in TV movies including A Christmas Romance, The Christmas Angel: A Story on Ice, and in the 2016 post-apocalyptic Western film Dead 7 starring Backstreet Boys Nick Carter, AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, and NSYNC’s Joey Fatone. Sharknado 5: Global Swarming premieres on Syfy on Sunday, August 6 at 8pm.
