In USA Network’s limited edition TV series The Sinner, Jessica Biel plays Cora Tannetti, a young mother who is desperate to figure out what’s causing her to have violent tendencies. The character Harry Ambrose is trying to help her recover missing memories which eventually lead to new suspects.
Detective Ambrose is portrayed by veteran actor Bill Pullman. He’s known for his roles in the films The Equalizer (Brian Plummer), LBJ (Ralph Yarborough), Independence Day (President Whitmore), While You Were Sleeping (Jack), The Last Seduction (Clay Gregory), David Lynch’s Lost Highway (Fred Madison), and Mel Brooks’ Spaceballs (Lone Starr), among many others. Fun fact about Pullman: He is the sixth of seven children. His father was a doctor; his mother a nurse. The Sinner airs Wednesdays at 10pm on USA and Thursdays at 8pm on Bravo.
