On Battle of the Network Stars, TV cops compete against actors from popular sci-fi and fantasy TV shows. It doesn’t look like a fair match. The cops team which includes veteran actors Fred Dryer (Hunter) and Adrian Zmed (T.J. Hooker) faces Lou Ferrigno (The Hulk), Kevin Sorbo (Hercules), and Charisma Carpenter (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) on the sci-fi/fantasy team. Cops do some seriously tough stuff on TV, but The Hulk and Hercules are what you might call badasses. Could make for a long competition for the law enforcement side.
Charisma Carpenter is known for her roles on The Lying Game (Rebecca), Veronica Mars (Kendall Casablancas), Charmed (The Seer), and most notably on Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Cordelia Chase, among others. You can see Carpenter next in the family film Pony with a Broken Wing with Jonathan Silverman and Tom Arnold. She’s pretty cool in The Expendables 2, too. Battle of the Network Stars airs Thursdays at 9pm on ABC.
