On the Siesta Key episode “We Need to Talk About Chloe,” Chloe’s mother takes her daughter to the doctor after Amanda allegedly punched Chloe. In the car, Chloe’s mother reminds Chloe how lucky she is the doctor had an opening and voices her disbelief about Amanda hitting Chloe. “I just can’t picture Amanda doing that,” says Chloe’s mom which provokes Chloe to take off her glasses and point to her bruised face, “Well, she apparently did, Mom.”
When Chloe’s mom asks if Amanda has texted or called Chloe since their altercation, Chloe says no, “She doesn’t care.” Chloe’s mom questions her daughter’s response and again states that she can’t believe Amanda hasn’t contacted Chloe. “Why do you assume I lie?!” Chloe yells. “Let me pull up since my word is not good enough,” Chloe scrolls the screen of her phone. “There’s not one text, nothing.” Siesta Key airs Mondays at 10pm on MTV.
