The Hallmark Channel movie Sun, Sand & Romance is set at a summer resort. Workaholic publisher Kate (Tricia Helfer) is staying there with her boyfriend Eric (Scott Elrod). But when she runs into her ex-boyfriend from high school Shep (who works at the resort as Activities Director), she falls for fun-loving Shep (Paul Campbell) all over again. At the end of her stay, she picks one man over the other.
While at the resort, Kate goes on a hike with counselor Chloe who is portrayed by the multi-talented Sadie Robertson. Sadie is the daughter of Willie Robertson; together (and with the rest of their family) they starred in the A&E reality TV show Duck Dynasty. In 2014, Sadie competed and went to the finals on Dancing with the Stars with her professional dance partner Mark Ballas. (They lost to winners Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson.) Sun, Sand & Romance premieres on Hallmark Channel on Saturday, August 26 at 8pm. Don’t worry, it will air again on Aug 27 at 7pm, Sept 2 at 7pm, Sept 3 at 3pm, Sept 8 at 4pm and Sept 25 at 4pm.
