German Cornejo isn’t just a dancer; he’s a World Champion of Tango (2005, at the age of 19). The now 31-year-old dancer and choreographer from Buenos Aires, Argentina is leading his sexy dance troupe, German Conejo Dance Company, to compete on America’s Got Talent, Season 12.
Cornejo is the creator of the stage production, Immortal Tango, which “blends Hollywood’s greatest successes during the golden years with tango.” The root is tango but the performances are fused with marcato, syncope, yumba, and rap rhythms and combines different dance techniques including ballroom, modern and hip hop, among others.
