Mike Bradford of Pflugerville, Texas is the inventor behind The Wonderffle Waffle Iron, a cordless portable cooking iron that makes 5-inch round stuffed waffles. Simply pre-heat the bottom half of the iron, pour in batter then add pieces of fruit or fried chicken (eggs, a cheeseburger, peanut butter and jelly…), pour more batter in, then add the top of the iron and let it cook. When the 2.5-inch thick waffle is done it’s like holding a grilled sandwich. Bradford will pitch his Wonderffle Waffle Iron on Steve Harvey’s Funderdome (June 25) against Repast Supply Co’s handmade Maple Walnut Ravioli Rolling Pin.
Bradford is currently taking pre-orders for The Wonderffle on his website and expects to deliver by September 2017. Originally priced at $129, The Wonderffle is now on sale for $99. Steve Harvey’s Funderdome airs Sundays at 9pm, right after Celebrity Family Feud on ABC.
