On the new entrepreneurial contest TV show Steve Harvey’s Funderdome, inventors and entrepreneurs come into the Funderdome to pitch their products and compete against each other. There is no panel of Sharks on this show. The audience votes and decides which idea gets the prize money to see their idea through. “It’s the customers not the CEOs who make the big decisions,” says host Steve Harvey.

On the premiere episode, Grace Chang presents Soarigami. It’s a product that resembles a giant paper air plane and is designed to sit atop an armrest. Its purpose is to extend the armrest space and provide a divider for the two arms that must share the armrest. Change brings a fun spirit into the Funderdome. As Harvey says, “You were a fun little child weren’t you? Everyone wanted to play with you.” Soarigami is up against The Airhook. Steve Harvey’s Funderdome airs Sundays at 9pm on ABC, right after Celebrity Family Feud.
