Seattle rapper Macklemore is taking a break from his musical partner of more than five years Ryan Lewis and has released the first single “Glorious” from his first solo album in 12 years. “Glorious” features singer/songwriter Skylar Gray. It’s produced by Josh “Budo” Karp and Tyler Dopps.

For a Rolling Stone promotional photo shoot, Macklemore donned a fur wrap reminiscent of the one Eddie Murphy wore in the 1988 film Coming to America as Prince Akeem (see below). Macklemore’s doesn’t have an animal’s head attached to it but he kills the regal look. P.S. A sequel to Coming to America is in the works with the original writers but no word yet if Murphy will reprise his role.
