Thirty-one acts made it through the qualifiers on the TV competition World of Dance. They continue to compete against each other in The Duels. The top scoring qualifiers get to choose a rival in their division for the elimination duel. In the Junior division, contemporary dancer Eva Igo will face hip hop duo KynTay (former Janet Jackson dancers). In the Upper division, hip hop dancer Fik-Shun faces off against ballet dancer Nick Daniels.
For The Duel, Fik-Shun performs to the Tech N9ne song “Fragile” featuring Kendall Morgan, Kendrick Lamar & Mayday (see above). Tech N9ne has said that he was inspired to write the song after reading a critic’s review of one of his performances at the hip hop festival Paid Dues. World of Dance airs Tuesdays at 10pm on NBC, right after America’s Got Talent.
