DaNell Daymon & Greater Works is the gospel choir from Seattle, Washington competing on America’s Got Talent, Season 12. As choir founder and director DaNell Daymon told his local NBC TV station K5, “We love singing inspirational songs, to a variety of audiences. And this show (America’s Got Talent) was life changing.” Before their audition on America’s Got Talent, one of the female members of the choir announced, “We are ready to leave it all on the stage,” which caused her fellow singers to cheer.
This isn’t DaNell Daymon & Greater Works first time on the big stage. And they know how to compete. In 2012 they were named People’s Choice Winner at Verizon’s How Sweet the Sound gospel choir competition. See below. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
