In The Big Bang Theory episode ‘The Long Distance Dissonance’, an attractive admirer from Sheldon’s past, Dr. Ramona Nowitzki, visits Sheldon (Jim Parsons) while Amy is away at Princeton. The gang is worried. It’s been eight years since BBT fans have seen Ramona. She was in the 2008 episode “The Cooper-Nowitzki Theorem.” Her devotion to Sheldon was too much for him to handle then.
Ramona is portrayed by Riki Lindhome. She’s known for her roles on Con Man (Janet), Another Period (Beatrice), The Muppets (Becky), Garfunkel and Oates (Garfunkel), Enlightened (Harper), and Gilmore Girls (Juliet), among others. The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8pm on CBS.
