Two songs by the late great artist Prince will be performed during the final round of The Voice Season 12. All four singers — Aliyah Moulden (Team Blake), Lauren Duski (Team Blake), Jesse Larson (Team Adam), and Chris Blue (Team Alicia) — get the opportunity to sing a cover, an original song, and a duet with their coaches.

Jesse Larson and Adam Levine perform Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy” and Chris Blue and Alicia Keys perform Prince’s “Diamonds and Pearls.” The choices are remarkably different songs to come out of the same artist (e.g. “Diamonds and Pearls” is a ballad about love, not lust) showcasing the versatility of both Prince and The Voice singers. Alicia and Chris do a slow burn during the tune. Note: The female singer of Prince’s “Diamonds and Pearls” was Rosie Gaines who also sang “Nothing Compares 2 U” with Prince on tour. The winner of The Voice will be announced on Tuesday, May 23 (8pm, NBC).
