The protagonist in the TV movie The Psycho She Met Online is Karen Hexley. While tending to her husband Andrew (Matthew Lawrence) who was in a car accident (and now out of work), Karen hustles to pay the mortgage on their brand new house. Online, she looks for houseguests who want to rent her spare bedrooms. Houseguest Miranda (Charity Shea) seems great at first, but then things get weird and Miranda becomes the psycho Karen met online.
Karen is portrayed by Chelsea Hobbs. The Canadian-born actress is known for her roles on UnREAL (Charlie), Make It or Break It (Emily Kmetko), Lifetime’s Beach Girls with Rob Lowe (Nell, Rob Lowe’s daughter), Pasadena (Meredith Weller), and the TV movie The Unauthorized Melrose Place Story (Laura Leighton/Sidney), among others. The Psycho She Met Online premieres on LMN on April 9 at 8pm.
