Brian Riley and Kyle Jansen of Irvine, California are the entrepreneurs behind Guardian Bikes which claim to be the world’s safest children’s bikes. Each Guardian Bike is equipped with Riley’s Surestop technology which makes sure that pressure to the front and back hand breaks is evenly applied. Guardian Bikes sell on their website for $330 to $420, depending on the size (20 and 24 inch models) and number of speeds (one, six, and seven speeds are available).

One of the best features of Guardian Bikes is that they come partially assembled – the buyer just needs to tighten four bolts to add the wheels and pedals which they say takes just 10 minutes! And if you can’t or don’t want to pay all $330 or $420 upfront, there is a payment plan available (four $84 payments per bike). Shark Tank airs Fridays at 9pm on ABC. The Guardian Bike website sells direct to consumers.
