On The Voice, Season 12 when 26-year-old Casi Joy of Kansas City sang the 1958 Bill Mack song”Blue” for her Blind Audition, she got all four judges to turn around. (LeAnn Rimes made it popular again in 1997, when she won a Grammy for her version.) For The Voice Battle Round, Casi performed “How Blue” with Ashley Levin (who was stolen by Team Alicia). For the Knockout Round Casi sings the Maren Morris song “My Church” which also just won a Grammy Award. The chorus includes the lyrics — Can I get a hallelujah/ Can I get an amen/ Feels like the Holy Ghost running through ya.

In the Knockout Round, Casi faces Felicia Temple (aka Felicia Keys) who was just stolen by Blake Shelton from Alicia Keys. Fun fact: Alicia Keys famously performed twice with Maren Morris — at the 2017 Grammys (“Once”) and at the CMT Crossroads (“In Common”). The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
