Two mothers, Pam Crews and Sherry Smith, have developed a special sisterhood as they both try to solve the separate, mysterious deaths of their children — Jonathan Crews, 27, who was shot in the chest, and Lauren Agee, 21, whose body was found in a lake. Both mothers have filed wrongful death lawsuits against the people who last saw their children — their friends.
Sherry Smith’s daughter Lauren Agee was found dead in a water cove near the site where she was camping with a group of friends in July 2015 in Tennessee. Smith’s $10 million lawsuit claims that Agee’s body was found with multiple blunt force trauma to the head and neck “indicating homicide.” Smith claims her daughter was “killed through the intentional, negligent or reckless acts of the defendants.” Both Crews and Smith will be interviewed on 20/20 which airs Fridays at 10pm on ABC.
