The protagonist of the TV movie Stalker’s Prey is 18-year-old Laura (Saxon Sharbino). When the gorgeous teen was attacked by a shark, an equally gorgeous guy named Bruce (Mason Dye) rescues her and becomes a hero in town. Everyone including Laura’s mother Sandy thinks Bruce is a catch — but Laura thinks he’s creepy because, well, he’s stalking her.
The mother is portrayed by Cynthia Gibb. She’s appeared on many TV shows including Fame (Holly Laird) and Search for Tomorrow (Suzi Martin Wyatt Carter), among others, and in the films Youngblood (Jessie), Short Circuit 2 (Sandy), Death Warrant with Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Gypsy with Bette Midler. Stalker’s Prey premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, March 25 at 8pm.
