In the new reality competition TV show Kicking & Screaming, ten professional survivalists are teamed with ten “pampered counterparts and placed in a forbidden wilderness” in Fiji where they must fight off dangerous animals, extreme weather, and hunger — among other things. The title refers to the survivalists who will need to drag their nature-phobic partners, Kicking & Screaming, to the finish line. The host of the show is actress Hannah Simone.
Simone is best known for her role as Cece Parekh on New Girl. She’ll appear next on the big screen in the action comedy Why We’re Killing Gunther with Arnold Schwarzenegger (who’s playing Gunther) and Cobie Smulders (Robin, How I Met Your Mother). Fun fact: Smulders husband, ex SNLer Taran Killam is the writer/director. Kicking & Screaming airs Thursdays at 9pm on FOX.
