In The Simpsons episode ‘A Father’s Watch’, while Bart shows Homer the valuable watch that Grandpa gave him — the one Homer has been eyeing since he was a little boy, Marge worries about Bart’s future. To help deter Bart from failure, she consults with parenting “experts” and meets Dr. Fenton Pooltoy.
Dr. Fenton Pooltoy is voiced by Rob Riggle. The actor and standup comedian is known for his roles on Modern Family (Gil Thorpe), New Girl (Big Schmidt), Wilfred (Kevin Jesquire), Gary Unmarried (Mitch), The Daily Show (2006-2015), Saturday Night Live (2004-2005), and Upright Citizens Brigade (1998-2000), among others. Riggle is also well recognized for his roles in the films Dumb and Dumber To (Travis), 21 Jump Street (Mr. Walters), and The Hangover (Officer Franklin). The Simpsons airs Sundays at 8pm on FOX.
