On the Little Big Shots episode ‘The Princess and the Hot Dog,’ Steve Harvey will invite a number of talented singers on the stage including 3-year-old Claire and 12-year-old Sparsh Shah. Sparsh is in a wheelchair because he was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta. (He was born with more than 30 broken bones.) He tells Harvey he’s had more than 125 bone fractures throughout his life, “I have a fracture right now,” he says. When Harvey asks “Then why are you here?” Sparsh says loudly and proudly, “I want to inspire the world.” The 12-year-old’s goal is to perform in front of a billion people. “It’s doable,” he says, “I know it’s doable.”
In October 2016, Sparsh released his “Tribute to Eminem” CD which is for sale (.99 per song). The 10-track CD includes five of Sparsh’s favorite Eminem songs including “Not Afraid” and “Rap God” (see video below). Proceeds go to Sparsh’s college fund – he wants to go to the the world-renowned Berklee College of Music “as early as 2017 at the age of 13.” Little Big Shots airs Sundays at 7pm and 8pm on NBC.
