In the Say Yes to the Dress episode ‘I Want My Daughter to Look Like a Sexpot’, while one bride’s outspoken mother takes over her appointment at Kleinfeld, another bride named Katie Sundseth arrives with her friend Abigail. Katie needs a dress for her wedding, which is just two months away — and a dress that has a little give as she’s pregnant. Katie, who has the advantage of being a knockout gorgeous model, tries on a dress which she says is “to die for.” But Abigail says the dress is too distracting with the “drapey booby thing” going on. Katie agrees and explains that she’s going to get married in front of a lot of golf professionals and golf is a conservative sport. (Try telling that to Dustin Johnson’s sexy girlfriend Paula Gretzky.)
Katie later married Matt Ginella, TV host of Golf Channel’s “Morning Drive.” Before Golf Channel, Ginella was a senior travel editor for Golf Digest and Golf World magazines. He launched his career in sports publishing as a golf photo editor at Sports Illustrated. Ginella graduated from St. Mary’s College (California) and Columbia University’s School of Journalism.
