The new WEtv docu-series Dr. Miami stars real life plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer and his alter ego Dr. Miami (see photo above). Salzhauer (Dr. Miami) has become famous for posting his clients’ surgeries online (with their permission). He’s known for his nose jobs, breast augmentations, Brazilian Butt Lifts, Tummy Tucks and Mommy Makeovers. In one video he looks at the camera and says, “I’m stabbing and dabbing.” Millions of people watch him operate every day. And now he’s booked years in advance via his practice, Bal Harbor Plastic Surgery Associates, where he has a seven-person staff (an OR nurse, patient coordinators, and social media coordinators).

Salzhauer says “I make people feel better about their bodies,” while having fun. “There’s a fine line between creativity and craziness,” he says while wearing a blonde braided wig, “But I don’t think I’ve crossed it.” Dr. Salzhauer is a board-certified plastic surgeon who was trained at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, the University of Miami Medical Center, and Clevela nd Clinic Foundation. Dr. Miami airs Fridays at 10pm on WEtv.
