The protagonist of the new TV series APB is tech billionaire Gideon Reeves. After witnessing the murder of his best friend, he devotes his life to using technology to fight crime. He develops an app called APB which allows people (especially for those in Chicago’s violent 13th District) to alert police of a crime, and it works.
Gideon Reeves is portrayed by Justin Kirk. He’s known for his roles on Modern Family (Mitchell’s boss Charlie Bingham), Wayward Pines (Peter McCall), Tyrant (John Tucker), Animal Practice (Dr. George Coleman), Weeds (Andy Botwin), Angels in America (Prior Walter/Leatherman in Park), and Jack & Jill (Barto Zane), among others. APB airs Mondays at 9pm on FOX.
