On APB, when tech billionaire Gideon Reeves (Justin Kirk) witnesses the murder of his best friend who bleeds to death in his arms, he meets one of Chicago’s finest, police officer Theresa Murphy. When Reeves develops a crime-solving app, APB, he recruits Murphy to help him launch the app and find his friend’s killer.
Detective Murphy is portrayed by Natalie Martinez. She’s known for her roles on Kingdom (Alicia Mendez), Secrets and Lies (Jess Murphy), Under the Dome (Linda Esquivel), CSI: NY (Detective Jamie Lovato), Detroit 1-8-7 (Detective Ariana Sanchez), Saints & Sinners (Pilar Martin), and Fashion House (Michelle Miller), among others.
