The protagonist of the Hallmark Channel movie A Dash of Love is aspiring chef Nikki Turner (Jen Lilley). When she gets the chance of a lifetime to work for her idol, chef Holly Hanson (Peri Gilpin), she takes it. Unfortunately Holly takes Nikki’s recipes and then fires her. Don’t worry, Nikki finds comfort in executive chef Paul, who helps Nikki open a successful pop-up restaurant — without Holly.
Paul is portrayed by Brendan Penny. The Canadian-born actor is known for his roles on Chesapeake Shores (Kevin O’Brien), Motive and The Dark Corner (Detective Brian Lucas), The Runner (Josh), The True Heroines (Calvin Hepburn), and The Assistants (Danny Newell), among others. A Dash of Love premieres on Saturday, February 11 at 9pm on Hallmark Channel. It will air again on Feb 12 at 5pm, Feb 14 at 6pm, Feb 18 at 7pm, Feb 19 at 1pm, March 18 at 3pm, and March 26 at 7pm.
