Evan Delahanty of Akron, Ohio is the entrepreneur behind Peaceful Fruits, a line of 100 percent all natural fruit snacks. Using antioxidant-rich acai berries from the Amazon Rainforest, the former Peace Corps worker makes acai fruit strips. There are 25 superfood açaí berries in every strip. Delahanty is pitching his fair-trade Peaceful Fruits business on Shark Tank (February 10).
Peaceful Fruits offers three flavors: acai + apple, acai + pineapple, and mixed. One (compostable) package of Peaceful Fruits’ Wild Acai Strips (12 pack) sells for $13.99. Peaceful Fruits is also available on Amazon (see above). Shark Tank airs Fridays at 9pm on ABC.
