In the American Housewife episode ‘The Playdate’, when Anna-Kat (Julia Butters) returns from a playdate at Penny’s house, it’s revealed that she stole a valuable object. Her father Greg (Diedrich Bader) wants her to confess and return it. Her mother Katie (Katy Mixon) would rather not because Penny’s mother Chloe Brown Mueller (Jessica St. Clair) is the town gossip.
Penny’s father Stan Muller is portrayed by Timothy Omundson. He’s known for his roles in Galavant (King Richard), Supernatural (Cain), Psych (Detective Carlton Lassiter), Jericho (Phil Constantino), Judging Amy (Sean Potter), Deadwood (Brom Garret), and Xena: Warrior Princess (Eli), among others. Fun fact: Omundson made his TV debut in the 1992 Seinfeld episode “The Cheever Letters” (Ricky, brother of George’s fiancee Susan Ross). American Housewife airs Tuesdays at 8:30pm on ABC.
