A Facebook advertisement sponsored by Donald J. Trump asks people to “Donate BIG today and help us CRUSH our goal by the end-of-month FEC deadline.” It refers to a “January-End-of-Month Goal” and features Trump holding his two thumbs up, wearing a Make American Great Again hat. The photo has Trump superimposed in front of the White House. And then a green arrow moves and points towards his crotch — or is that just his pocket? The arrow is presumably designed to tell people where to donate.
The link leads to donaldjtrump.com, where Trump supporters are asked to contribute $35 or more to “show them that the American people are UNITED behind our president.” The ad is still running — imploring backers to contribute campaign donations to meet this January goal, despite Trump’s already having been elected. There is also an option to “make this a monthly recurring donation.” If you don’t want to donate online you can send your donation via U.S. mail to Mr. Trump at his Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in New York City.
