In the Modern Family episode ‘Snow Ball,’ the whole extended family pitches in at a winter holiday gala at Manny’s and Luke’s high school. While the boys indulge in shenanigans, their mothers Claire (Julie Bowen) and Gloria (Sofia Vergara) try to set up an overbearing mother named Marjorie Bayer with the school principal.
The principal is portrayed by Andrew Daly. The actor is known for his roles on black-ish (Dr. Evan Windsor), Silicon Valley (Doctor), Grandfathered (Bruce), The Paul Reiser Show (Brad), Reno 911! (Brad the Friendly Homeowner), and MADtv (various characters including Dick Cheney), among others. Daly is also recognized for his roles in the films Semi-Pro (Dick Pepperfield), What Happens in Vegas (Curtis), and She’s Out of My League (Mr. Fuller). Or maybe you recognize him from CarMax commercials (like the one below). Modern Family airs Wednesdays at 9pm on ABC.
