Inboard Technology is manufacturing the first skateboard with a motor inside the wheels – The M1 Electric Skateboard. It can reach 24 mph and go up to 10 miles before needing to recharge the battery (it takes about 90 minutes to charge). The 37” long board weighs 14.5 lbs. and can hold a rider who weighs up to 250 lbs. You can do everything you can on a regular skateboard but also go up a hill at 20 mph. Oh, and at night, too. There are LED lights in the front and back of the M1 Electric boards.

Inboard founder Ryan Evans raised $421k on Kickstarter and now he’s pitching the business on Shark Tank (December 2). While it’s too late to order The M1 Electric Skateboard in time for the holidays, (all orders placed after September will ship in January 2017), you can preorder The M1 and accessories including a PowerShift battery ($249) and bag ($149). Shark Tank airs Fridays at 9pm on ABC.
