In the Season 5 finale of Little Women: LA, Tonya Banks and Elena Gant visit their friend Terra Jole as she rehearses for her first performance on Dancing with the Stars. Terra is the first little person to compete on the ballroom dancing reality show. She admits to Tonya and Elena, “Everybody was talking about teams being a competitor, and I felt like they were like dismissing me.” She cries, “I don’t want to feel that I’m not competition.”
With her professional dance partner Sasha Ferber, Terra has proven that she is a fierce competitor. She is one of the final six couples vying for the Mirror Ball trophy. DWTS Judge Julianne Hough has said when she looks at Jole she “doesn’t see a little person,” she “sees a big star.” Little Women: LA airs Wednesdays at 9pm on Lifetime. Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
