LeBron James shouted out some Dak Prescott love on Twitter during the Cowboys-Redskins matchup and people were pissed. That’s because, you know, people just walk around pissed off all day obviously. Even people (like Cowboys fans) whose teams are winning. No other explanation for it really. They get especially mad apparently about rich, accomplished guys — who have earned the right to root for whoever they want — cheering on a rookie doing marvelous things. Shouldn’t be a big deal, but it is — because Twitter, which sort of rhymes with anger. (Close enough for a Kanye rhyme anyway.)
Yes sir @dak!! Great drive and answer to their TD

So far 6.6K people replied to James’s ten-word tweet. A high percentage of replies accused King James of jumping on the Cowboys bandwagon (strange provincialism for a team known as “America’s Team”). James had defenders — “LeBron been a Cowboys fan since he came into the league bro” — but they were outgunned by hecklers who think James oughta be a Browns fan, pure and simple. James is well-known to be immune to naysayers. He kept going with tweets including one declaring WeDemBoys, which drew 15K responses, with more than one echoing “We Dem Bandwagon.” In other news, some Cowboys fans said separately that James was born in Kenya. Anyway, helluva game by Prescott, if we’re allowed to say.
Yes sir MVP/ROY!!! @EzekielElliott #WeDemBoyz
