In the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles episode ‘White Wedding Day,’ Josh Altman and his fiancée Heather get together with Josh’s parents before their wedding. Josh is helping his parents’ friend Patricia to sell her home. When his parents inquire about the selling, Josh says “the house is awesome, we showed it a couple of times and we got an offer on it.” But it’s a lowball offer ($3.2 million) says Josh; he had $3.795M in mind. Josh’s mother says, “So get the other realtor up.” That’s when Josh breaks the news to his parents that the other realtor is Heather.
Heather says, “The proper thing to do is to have your client counter my client.” Josh says “I talked to my client…and it’s a little disrespectful.” Heather says, “All I’m saying is you need to get on the phone and handle the business.” The whole conversation is making Josh’s mother uncomfortable. “Do you think you guys get this over with before the wedding?’” she asks. Josh says, “We’ll figure it out,” but also says he doesn’t want to push his client. When Heather says, “Fine, maybe this will hold us up,” Josh’s mother says, “Okay, I think you guys need a time out.” Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles airs Thursdays at 9pm on Bravo.
