Just one year ago, billionaire entertainment mogul Oprah Winfrey announced that she was hopping on the Weight Watchers bandwagon. Not only as a spokesperson who famously “loves bread” but also as an investor and member of the Weight Watchers Board of Directors. Winfrey says: “Weight Watchers has given me the tools to begin to make the lasting shift that I and so many of us who are struggling with weight have longed for. I believe in this program so much I decide to invest in the company and partner in the evolution.”
Now Oprah is releasing “an extraordinarily personal cookbook” — Food, Health, and Happiness: 115 On-Point Recipes For Great Meals and A Better Life which is available for pre-order. Copies will hit the shelves on Tuesday, January 3, 2016, when New Year’s Resolutions are still fresh in the minds of dieters.
