The OKC Thunder rolled down to Barcelona after losing an OT scoring fest 142-137 to Real Madrid. This time the Thunder prevailed — beating FCB 92-89 to go 1-1 in a pair of preseason contests in Spain. The one aspect both games had in common was the offensive explosion of Enes Kanter, who despite drawing consistent double team managed to drop big buckets in both games.
Against Real Madrid Kanter scored 29 points on 60 percent shooting. Against Barcelona Kanter led the Thunder scoring 24 points on only 12 shots, shooting 75 percent from the floor. Kanter figures to be one of a number of OKC Thunder players who’ll assert themselves in the absence of the departed Kevin Durant.
