Laurie Hernandez, the 16-year-old gold medal Olympic gymnast, is winning America’s heart again on Dancing with the Stars, Season 23. It’s an understatement to say she’s got a lot going for her — but it is true. And now she can add author to her impressive resume. Her memoir, I Got This: To Gold and Beyond, will be released January 24, 2017. Laurie writes about how she overcame injuries and how she’s homeschooled in New Jersey.
Laurie is also known for wearing her curly hair pulled back, away from her face. But this weekend, Laurie posted a couple of selfies with a new haircut. Her hair is now straight and shoulder-length, giving her a more sophisticated look. Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
