On the Jill and Jessa: Counting On episode ‘Proposal in the City,’ Jinger, Michelle, Jessa and Ben travel to the Northeast to meet Jeremy’s family and friends in his hometown of Downingtown, Pennsylvania. What Jinger doesn’t know is that Jeremy plans to propose to her while they visit New York City.
Jeremy Vuolo used to be a professional soccer player. The 6’3” goalkeeper started playing college soccer at Hartwick College and then transferred to Syracuse in 2010. After Cuse, he signed with Finnish club AC Oulu and then returned to the States to play for the Major League Soccer team, the New York Red Bulls (2012). He later played with the San Antonio Scorpions of the North American Soccer League before retiring in 2014. Vuolo announced that he was living soccer to pursue ministry. (His father, Charles Vuolo, is the pastor of Grace Church of Downingtown.) Vuolo is now a full-time pastor in Laredo, Texas. Jill and Jessa: Counting On airs Tuesdays at 8pm on TLC.
